There is only one relationship that matters, and that is your personal relationship to a personal Redeemer and Lord.
Let everything else go, but maintain that at all cost, and God will fulfill His purpose through your life.
(This includes meeting the needs of your heart.) One individual life may be of priceless value to God's purposes,
and yours may be that life.
Love is not affectionate feeling, but a steady wish for the loved person's ultimate good as far as it can be obtained.
The art of love... is largely the art of persistence.
God's promises are like the stars: the darker the night, the brighter they shine.
Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.
One of Satan's ploys to retard spiritual productivity is getting Christians preoccupied
with humanistic philosophy and other bankrupt substitutes for God's truth.
Things and persons appear to us according to the light we throw upon them from our own minds.
How unconsciously we judge others by the light that is within ourselves, condemning or approving them by our own
conception of right and wrong, honor and dishonor! We show by our judgment just what the light within us is.
Don't be afraid for tomorrow. God is already there.
God can change our circumstances, but sometimes He waits for us to show
real desire for change as well as our faith in Him.
I believe there is nothing lovelier, deeper, more sympathetic, and more perfect than the Savior;
there is in the world only one figure of absolute beauty: Christ.
And what kind of habitation pleases God? What must our natures be like before he can feel at home within us?
He asks nothing but a pure heart and a single mind. He asks no rich paneling, no rugs from the Orient,
no art treasures from afar. He desires but sincerity, transparency, humility, and love. He will see to the rest.
God has wisely kept us in the dark concerning future events and reserved for himself the knowledge of them that he
may train us up in a dependence upon himself and a continued readiness for every event.
I am a NOBODY telling EVERYBODY about SOMEBODY who can save ANYBODY.
To love is to be vulnerable.
God answers all knee mails.
It is the acknowledgment of our humanity and our frailness that places us in a
position to have a personal encounter with the living God.
The essence of temptation is the invitation to live independently of God.
Hate destroys the vessel it's kept in.
I have learned that what we have done for ourselves alone dies with us.
What we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal.
Love doesn't make the world go round. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile.
