The Word
(John 1:1)
always keeps His Word
(Matt 24:35)
so you can always take the Word at His Word!!!
The fact an erstwhile stammerer preached the longest sermon in the Bible (In 33 Chapters out of the 34 Chapters in the Book of Deuteronomy,
we see Moses speaking without a break) leaves me speechless!!!
In the Crowd that followed Christ, there were different categories of folks...
Many in CRISIS
(Matt 4:23-25),
many for CUISINE
(John 6:26),
some to CRITICISE
(Mark 12:12)
but the COMMITTED ONES were the 120
(Acts 2:1-2)
who gathered on the Upper Room on the Day of Pentecost!!!
In the Book of Exodus, while we see the Israelites departing from their slavery to Pharoah sadly there is departure from their slavery to selfishness!!!
The lesson we need to learn in the Book of Deuteronomy is that we need to remember to remember (the word remember is used 15 times)
all of God's gracious works in our lives, quite often.
Yours in His service,
